FAQs
Do you offer private parties and events?
Yes! Pricing varies based on the craft that you choose for your group. A minimum of ten participants is required to book any party or event here at Lindsey’s Craft Studio. Please contact Lindsey directly for a quote for your event and to discuss dates and amenities available to you. A $100 nonrefundable deposit will be required to hold your selected event date.
For those located outside of Connecticut, Lindsey’s Craft Studio offers hybrid pre-recorded private events, where she will provide a private link to a pre-recorded tutorial along with the purchase of any Craft Party in a Box. Supplies once purchased will still be sent to you with plenty of time for you to setup for your guests so you can craft together in person! There is NO FEE for pre-recorded classes with the purchase of supplies.
Good news! At this time there is only a 10 PERSON MINIMUM for all pre-recorded events! Small events welcome at this time. There is no upper limit for events, although if you have more than 10 people attending, you may receive multiple boxes of supplies for your attendees and they may arrive at separate times.
How do I plan an event with you at my restaurant, business, or rental space?
Use the contact form on the website to send Lindsey’s Craft Studio some information about what you’re interested in hosting, where you are located, and how to contact you. Pricing varies depending on craft and supplies needed to create it. After you decide on a craft and a date, LCS will create an Eventbrite event or a Facebook event depending on your needs, and you can begin advertising to your customers. If you are a private event LCS can create a private shop page on the website and you can share the purchase link with your customers for easy ticket sales (this option is great for fundraisers).
Are Tutorials and Classes the same thing?
NO! Tutorials and classes are two totally different things.
Tutorials are pre-recorded, one-time purchases that you watch at home and follow along with. Supplies are not included. No in-person studio time is included. You may watch at anytime, and keep them forever! Before starting your tutorial, it’s a good idea to setup your workspace according to our Suggested Materials guide. To purchase one of these, visit the SHOP page.
Classes and workshops take place in person at Lindsey’s Craft Studio in Wallingford, CT. You must be able to attend in person, arrive on time, and stay for the duration of the event. Tickets to a class are only valid for the date and time stated. To purchase tickets to an in-person event, visit the CALENDAR page. (coming soon!)
Do I need any previous experience with painting or crafting to take your classes?
Absolutely not! Lindsey breaks down each activity into simple steps that even a beginner can handle. No matter the activity, rest assured it has been carefully planned so that you have the best time possible and leave with something you’re proud of.
Some paintings and activities are better if you’ve had some practice, and these will say “intermediate” in the description for the class. They will also outline exactly what previous experience you should have, so you can decide for yourself if that class is meant for you. Those classes will be few and far between, as Lindsey’s Craft Studio prides itself on being very beginner friendly!

How do I get a piece of custom artwork from you for a birthday/holiday gift/etc or a mural or other work for my business?
Lindsey loves working with clients directly to come up with custom artwork for their space! Whether large or small canvas art, menu boards, signboards, murals, and so on, she’s got you covered. Please email her directly at lindsey@lindseyscraftstudio.com to request pricing and sample photos of work (although many of those same samples can be found by scrolling the official Lindsey’s Craft Studio Instagram or Facebook). Lindsey will do her best to work within your individual budget for your item. Most canvas paintings begin at $100 in pricing, while most murals and window art begin at $200-300, and signboards range from $50+ depending on surface area and if you will need seasonal repainting.
Although it is a frequent request, Lindsey will not be offering costume commissions for the foreseeable future as she focuses on giving in-person guests the best possible experience at Lindsey’s Craft Studio. However, she will be offering plenty of sewing, wig making and costuming classes, along with latex prosthetic workshops throughout the year, so keep an eye out for those so you can come in and DIY your dream costume or cosplay!
